On island adoption requirements

Persons wishing to adopt a Cat or Dog from Salty Paws must meet certain guidelines before being able to adopt.

You must have a properly fenced property
You must be living on Union Island full time
We don't believe in tying up dogs for the rest of their life
Able to feed and water them on a daily basis
If the animal becomes ill, it is your responsibility to let us know.

Off island adoption requirements

Persons wishing to adopt a Cat or Dog from Salty Paws must meet certain guidelines before being able to adopt.

You guarantee that the dog/cat won't be given up to a shelter in a foreign country
Ready to cover all costs to prepare the animal for departure

We can help you with the paperwork and vaccines needed for travel. Depending on which country you wish to travel to with the dog, costs will vary. Contact us for more info !
